By accessing or using Saltwater Aquarium Logger ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

Saltwater Aquarium Logger is a free web-based application that allows users to track and manage saltwater aquarium water parameters, livestock, dosing schedules, and related information.

3.1. You must create an account to use certain features of the Service.

3.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.3. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3.4. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

3.5. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.

4.1. You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Resell or commercialize the Service without authorization

4.2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5.1. You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service (measurements, photos, notes, etc.).

5.2. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

5.3. You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it.

5.4. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you submit.

5.5. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

6.1. You may choose to make your aquarium data publicly accessible via share links.

6.2. Any data you make public can be viewed by anyone with the share link.

6.3. You can revoke public access at any time through your account settings.

6.4. We are not responsible for how others use publicly shared information.

7.1. MARKETPLACE DISCLAIMER:

THE CORAL FRAG MARKETPLACE (sal.fish) IS A PLATFORM THAT FACILITATES CONNECTIONS BETWEEN INDIVIDUAL BUYERS AND SELLERS. SAL.FISH DOES NOT SELL, SHIP, OR OTHERWISE HANDLE ANY CORALS OR OTHER LIVESTOCK.

7.2. NO LIABILITY FOR TRANSACTIONS:

• We are NOT a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers
• We are NOT responsible for the quality, condition, legality, or accuracy of listings
• We are NOT responsible for sellers' ability or willingness to complete transactions
• We are NOT responsible for payment disputes, fraud, or non-delivery
• We are NOT responsible for livestock health, quarantine status, or disease transmission
• We are NOT responsible for shipping damage, delays, or mortality
• We are NOT responsible for misrepresentation of species, size, color, or condition

7.3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for completing transactions
• Users must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding coral collection, sale, and transport
• Users must verify the legal status of species in their jurisdiction
• Users must arrange payment, shipping, and delivery independently
• Users should quarantine all new livestock appropriately

7.4. INFORMATION ACCURACY:

Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings. sal.fish does NOT verify:

• Species identification or scientific names
• Coral health, pest status, or quarantine procedures
• Pricing fairness or accuracy
• Shipping capabilities or willingness to ship
• Seller reputation or reliability

7.5. DISPUTES:

sal.fish is NOT involved in dispute resolution between buyers and sellers. Users agree to resolve all disputes directly with each other.

7.6. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION:

We reserve the right to suspend or ban users from the marketplace for fraudulent behavior, violations of these terms, or other misconduct, but we have no obligation to monitor marketplace activity.

7.7. LEGAL COMPLIANCE:

Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species), ESA (Endangered Species Act), and all other wildlife protection laws. Illegal activity will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to authorities.

BY USING THE MARKETPLACE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT SAL.FISH BEARS NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR ANY ASPECT OF MARKETPLACE TRANSACTIONS. YOU USE THE MARKETPLACE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8.1. The Service includes a database of aquarium products and additives for informational purposes only.

8.2. Product information is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy or completeness.

8.3. We are not responsible for the accuracy of manufacturer-provided information.

8.4. Product recommendations are informational only and not professional advice.

8.5. We are not affiliated with product manufacturers unless explicitly stated.

9.1. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

9.2. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
• Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable

9.3. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10.1. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Harm to livestock or property based on information from the Service

10.2. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED €100 (ONE HUNDRED EUROS).

10.3. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

11.1. The Service provides tools for tracking aquarium parameters but does NOT provide professional veterinary or aquatic advice.

11.2. You are solely responsible for the care and welfare of your aquatic livestock.

11.3. Always consult qualified professionals for aquarium health concerns.

11.4. We are not responsible for livestock loss, illness, or death.

12.1. While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of critical data.

12.2. We are not liable for data loss due to any cause.

13.1. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

13.2. We may also modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

13.3. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

14.1. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms.

14.2. You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

14.3. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14.4. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

15.1. The Service, including its design, code, and trademarks, is our property.

15.2. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

15.3. All product names and trademarks are property of their respective owners.

16.1. The Service uses third-party authentication (Clerk) and may use other third-party services.

16.2. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

16.3. We are not responsible for third-party service failures or security breaches.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in Danish courts.
